Suape currently has 3 public patios, two of them with customs area and 1 in the process of implantation of customs. Two patios are exclusive for vehicles under the ro-ro system, called Vehicle Public Patio PPV1 and PPV2, and another for general cargo, the former Suape Container Patio, called PCON.

The PPV1 has an area of 3.6 hectares, with a static storage capacity of 1,829 spots.

The PPV2 has an area of 15 hectares, with a static storage capacity of 6,504 spots.

PCON has an area of 2 hectares that are paved and on open air.

The use of these patios will be done under request done previously to the ship's arrival at the port, and should be sent to the Suape Port Coordinating Body of Operations, by means of e-mail. The body may or may not authorize the use, according to determined premises, such as cargo compatibility with the patio, space availability and competition criteria with port leasers.

In case the use is authorized, each patio has determined forms of use, such as:

PPV1/2 and PCON – the patios can be operated by any operator pre-qualified by activities compatible with the patio, being thus necessary the hiring of qualified personnel by the consignee/shipper for their movimentation. To the port administration will be owed the fees regarding the storage and use of patio infrastructure, described by the port's public fee.
