The administration of Suape's Industrial Port Complex adhered to the Vida Aprendiz project (Life Apprentice) - whose goal is to train young socio-educators and Funase alumni (Socio-educative service Foundation), entering them as trainees in institutions and public agencies. The project is coordinated by the Bureau of Social Development, Childhood and Youth (SDSCJ) of Pernambuco, and has as its main goal to avoid crime and offense relapses through the inclusion of this public in the workforce.
 
The Vida Aprendiz project is focused on youngsters from the ages of 14 to 22, who are currently in high school or have already finished it in a regular school.
