The Suape Port has adopted the "landlord port" management model. As a Port Authority, it is responsible for the infrastructure of the access and navigation canals, docks and leveled areas for leasing, and delegates the execution of port operations and responsibility for the investments in the superstructure of the terminals - patios, warehouses and equipment - to the private initiatives and industries located near the port.
