Norms

Access of individuals to Suape's Port

  • Visitors or service providers must e-mail the company he/she intends to visit, informing name, RG, CPF, license plate, and driver's license number with anticipation. The information will be given to Suape's Port Security, who will be responsible for allowing access at the port's entrance gate.

  • Every person that transits through the Port must comply with what is established by the norm and carry a mandatory use badge. In each control station, the visitor must check in with the Port's Security.

  • The badge use does not guarantee free transit throughout the entire Organized Port, and must be restricted to the respective locations of the visitor's disclosed purpose and during the hours previously established for such.

  • The entrance to Suape's Organized Port will only be allowed to the individuals that transit during the periods strictly necessary to the performance of his/her activities.

  • Public employees of the intervenient authorities will have access to the Port's organized areas only upon the disclosure of the respective functional identification, as long as the performance of his/her activities are under way. The presentation of proper ID should be done to the Port Security at the Control Stations, with the intent to register the access.

  • Independent port employees will only be able to enter and remain within the areas of controlled and restricted access during the period in which they are to be performing their tasks, upon disclosure of work timetables by the OGMO (Port Employee Management Organ) and identification by the OGMO Registry Card, and properly accompanied by an OGMO employee.

  • The access control for independent employees to each location under customs control, upon information provided by the OGMO, will be the responsibility of each Port Operator, holder of the port's installation, in the form predicted by the article #9 of the Law #9,719/98.

  • Drivers of passenger or service vehicles will only have access to the areas of Controlled Access and Restricted Access if the driver and the vehicle's occupants comply with the procedures established for the control of individual access.

  • The passengers and crewman from collective transport vehicles will be subjected to the established individual access control.
    The access of any other individuals to the areas of Controlled Access and Restricted Access will only be permitted upon specific request and authorization from the ISPS Code's Coordinating Body.

  • The access of children and adolescents will not be permitted in the Organized Port, except when programmed or with explicit authorization from the companies installed at the Organized Port, as long as the children and/or adolescents remain within the internal areas of these companies and under the exclusive responsibility of the requesting party.

 

Vehicle Access

  • A Vehicle and its drivers' access to the Organized Port will be requested to comply with the Brazilian Transit Code.

  • The access of alternative transport to the Organized Port will not be permitted.

  • It is strictly prohibited for vehicles to remain within the customs area in case they are not performing specific activities related to the premises' operation and/or maintenance; these areas are not be used as parking.

  • The access of cargo vehicles to the Controlled Access and Restricted Access areas will only be permitted upon presentation of transport authorization document emitted by the vehicle's proprietary company or by solicitation from the company installed at Suape Port or port operator, as long as the drivers and passengers comply with the requirements established for the access of individuals.

  • Passenger and service vehicles will only have access to the Controlled Access and Restricted Access areas if the driver and occupants comply with the procedures established for the control of individual access.

  • Collective transport vehicles will only have access to Controlled Access and Restricted Access areas after registering the vehicles and their occupants and under compliance with the procedures of control by all of the passengers.

  • The remaining vehicles performing services for companies hired by port operators and installed companies at Suape Port, or hired by the Port's administration, will only have access to Controlled Access and Restricted Access upon previous solicitation and authorization by the ISPS Code's Coordinating Body.

  • The entrance and exit of goods from the Controlled Access and Restricted Access areas will only be permitted upon presentation of a fiscal document.
